Four years ago, a 5’8”, 114-pound teenager walked into a gym for the very first time. It’s a good chance that many people there at the YMCA in Charleston, West Virginia figured the young man was not unlike so many others that have passed through the front door; there for a while until giving it up due to not having enough time to work out.

“I put on 54 pounds since then,” the fitness/fashion model, acting student and NPC MPD competitor says. “I am even considering competing in bodybuilding because of my genes and physique.”

In a mere two years of training, Imran felt that he had made enough gains to enter his first show, the 2011 NPC Elite Physique Championships in Pittsburgh, promoted by Gary Udit and Mike Kamdar.

“I did pretty good,” Imran says humbly. “I won my class (Class B) and qualified for the Nationals in Miami.” Imran made the third callout and placed in the top 15 in the Sunshine State.

Taking off 2012 and most of 2013, Imran is planning on entering four shows before the end of the calendar year. He has made marked improvements to his physique and hopes to keep succeeding on the stage. In order to do so, Imran has followed this intense weekly training routine that he performs at Power Up Gym in Teays Valley, West Virginia:
